We are excited to officially unveil Shipment Guard to the world with the goal of helping Shopify brands reclaim their lost margins. 

Our story goes back to 2022, when we launched our first platform – Address Guard, with the goal of helping eCommerce brands ensure their customer data was verified prior to shipment. We had noticed at that time that brands were being charged an obscene amount of money from shipping carriers related to address verification issues, redelivery fees, policies in addition to internal operational costs. We set out to build a platform that primarily resolved this problem, but as time went on we noticed more issues existed – far beyond our original vision. 

Fast forward to 2025, and we currently help over 3,000 brands on Shopify eliminate failed deliveries, while automating shipping policies and saving operation teams with the headache of post-purchase delivery. Our clients have seen the impact firsthand – every prevented failed delivery equals real cost savings and higher margin on each order. However, we noticed something troubling across our clients. 

Even when a perfect address event occurs, margins are still getting squeezed across the entire post-purchase journey. 

  • Support costs with common problems such as “wrong size” or “forgot discount code” are taking away valuable time for the customer service team. Sure, live chat macros help to an extent, but your agents still spend up to 60% of their time on routine requests that customers can handle themselves.
